USA For America was Tom’s response to USA For Africa and other charity collaborations. Like, why not do one for the people who really need it? It’s only grown more relevant over time really. So imagine a celebrity chorus doing this one instead of Tom, me, our brother Joe and our sister Anita. And that side of the tape included things like a “live” version of “The Pope Is Dead” I made with crowd sounds from Wings Over America and multitracked reverbs from a guitar amp.
